TBTG. See 'eselect opengl list' and then reselect with 'eselest opengl set <number>' even if reports as selected. Please do that and reopen the bug reopen if that doesn't fix the issue. *** Bug 249750 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Reopening your own bug is done by reopening that but, not opening a new one. Paste output of 'eselect opengl list'. (In reply to comment #7) > Reopening your own bug is done by reopening that but, > not opening a new one. > > Paste output of 'eselect opengl list'. *Please*. :) Really sorry for the delay. copernicus hwmon # eselect opengl list Available OpenGL implementations: [1] nvidia * [2] xorg-x11 As you do have two positions on that list, try resetting it as I already said: -set it to 2 -then set it back to 1 Afterwards, check the output of 'ls -l /usr/lib/libGL.so' again. reopen with that information please. I do have to say - nice: skimp skimpydog # ls -l /usr/lib/libGL.so ls: cannot access /usr/lib/libGL.so: No such file or directory skimp skimpydog # eselect opengl list Available OpenGL implementations: [1] nvidia * [2] xorg-x11 skimp skimpydog # eselect opengl set xorg-x11 Switching to xorg-x11 OpenGL interface... done skimp skimpydog # ls -l /usr/lib/libGL.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 37 Apr 3 00:02 /usr/lib/libGL.so -> /usr/lib/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so skimp skimpydog # Point proven. same at a tinderbox image Created attachment 460384 [details]
