The latest version of openldap explicitly picks db 4.5 (or 4.4 or 4.3), so this doesn't look to be a blocker. ugh, wrong bug. changing the topic to _p4 since it's a newer revision. Will start request soon. CCing arches. Arches, please test and stabilize sys-libs/db 4.6-4.6.21_p4 ppc64 done I get this in src_test on amd64/x86:
