Description Dominik Kozaczko 2008-11-25 08:23:31 UTC
I edited some Python code with Anjuta. Several times after saving I was asked if I want to reload the file because there is newer version on the disk than in editor. Nothing else is using those files. This happens usually when saving after a small change (adding one character or so) but not every time.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Anjuta is compiled with the folowing useflags: "devhelp glade inherit-graph sourceview subversion valgrind -debug -doc" and I'm using the scintilla editor.

This is a known bug. Please update the upstream report if you have any new information: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=491491

upstream bug is marked fixed but I believe the fix landed in 2.26. Patches to backport the fix are welcomed though but I'm a bit dubitative wrt the nature of the problem and the plugin specific fix.

please try with 2.26.2.0. There is little chance we are going to fix 2.24 at this point since it has a lot of known bugs besides what is listed in our own bugzilla and it wasn't handled in due time.
