cannot compile blender 2.48a-r3

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -vp blender 
[ebuild  N    ] media-gfx/blender-2.48a-r3  USE="ffmpeg jpeg nls openmp png quicktime -blender-game -openal -openexr -player -verse" 0 kB
2. emerge -v blender
Actual Results:
