build.log after trying to emerge gnome-do
Example is for ver. 0.6.1.0, but it's reproducable for any other version from gentoo-bugs or portage
It looks like you are missing the dbus bindings, but these are a dependency of gnome-0.4.2.0-r2. (note that I can only support the versions that are in portage). Perhaps something in the dbus installation got messed up. You might be able to fix this by re-emerging dev-dotnet/dbus-sharp an dev-dotnet/dbus-glib-sharp, and then re-emerge gnome-do-0.4.2.0-r2. Please let us know if this fixes things for you and re-open the bug if it doesn't. First of all, just in case, i downgraded all of *-sharp to the versions from the portage (I had been experimenting with other versions of packets, to find the working combination). Next, as you said, i re-emerged dev-dotnet/dbus-sharp an dev-dotnet/dbus-glib-sharp and tried to emerge gnome-do-0.4.2.0-r2. Unfortunately - emerging again finished in the same place with the same error. gnome-do-0.6.1.0 is now in portage CVS and unmasked. Do you still get this problem with this newer version of gnome-do? |
