can you try again with less aggressive CFLAGS, like "-march=athlon-mp -O2 -pipe" I used -pipe alone, and got exactly the same error. Interestingly, I am getting the EXACT same error while trying to emerge firestarter-0.9.2 . Symptom of an underlying problem, not related to either libgail or firestarter? that is definitely a compiler error, binutils or glibc problem. maybe you might want to try remerge those will less optimisations and try again. Yep. I have underlying system problems, and I'm sure having a difficult time finding out what's going on. Appologies for the bogus bug, feel free to mark it invalid or some such. closing since it doesn't seem to be directly libgail-gnome related. thnx for reporting back. |
