All x11 drivers from the git overlay have that "bug" ... not that it's a big issue IMHO. Not worth bothering, since only overlay users are affected. Patches are still welcome though :) Closing WONTFIX because bugzilla won't let me close it NOTWORTHTHETROUBLE Reopening because the homepage is wrong in the portage versions as well. It should point at http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ imho, not xorg.freedesktop.org Regarding the description, maybe git.eclass or something shouldn't override the description if it's already set by an earlier inherit? Or why exactly is the description (and homepage) different? Thanks(In reply to comment #3) > Reopening because the homepage is wrong in the portage versions as well. > It should point at http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ imho, not > xorg.freedesktop.org No, the portage version is correct. This bug only shows up when users have added the x11 overlay. > Regarding the description, maybe git.eclass or something shouldn't override the > description if it's already set by an earlier inherit? Or why exactly is the > description (and homepage) different? Maybe the git eclass should be modified then? It's not really important in my book as only overlay users will ever notice. I assume they know what they're doing. Again closing WONTFIX, but patches to the x-modular eclass are more than welcome. Thanks Reopening Tomas (scarabeus) has fixed a bunch of issues with the git eclass directly in the x11 overlay. Right now, this bug is fixed and it'll be fixed for real when the eclass is merged back into portage. Closing fixed, yay! |
