x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.5.1 is out. 

Reading the changelog, it looks like at least one of the patches gentoo uses on 2.5.0 isn't needed (the default kernel mode setting to off one), I haven't checked the others though.

Don't sweat about the remaining 3 patches, they're still needed for now. I'll try to bump as soon as time allows.
