I removed the x11 overlay and downgraded all packages to the portage versions. Still no luck: [ebuild N ] x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.552-r1 USE="acpi -debug" 74,042 kB [blocks B ] x11-drivers/ati-drivers (is blocking x11-base/xorg-server-1.5.2) I think I'm going insane. I can't figure out where the block occurs. I found the problem. The message from emerge: x11-drivers/ati-drivers (is blocking x11-base/xorg-server-1.5.3) is false. It's the other way around; it's xorg-server that is blocking ati-drivers. I this bug still valid or should I submit a new one for xorg-server? I think this is a dupe of #236871 and it's the other way around. xorg-server is blocking ati-drivers Oh.. whoops.. you already caught that it's the other way around. Sorry about that. I was going off of the Summary of this bug. Still looks like a dupe to me. :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 236871 *** |
