Does `emerge -1 dev-perl/XML-Parser' solve the problem? If not, did you recently run perl-cleaner?

All works after `emerge -1 dev-perl/XML-Parser`. Thanks.

I was trying to emerge www-apps/bugzilla when this bug appeared. I did not touch any perl stuff at all.
