media-gfx/povray-3.7.0_beta29 does not run on any machine.
This is what happens:
~ % povray
povray: this pre-release version of POV-Ray for Unix has expired
(hahaha)
Please mask asap.

Please see the ewarn messages at the end of the gentoo install (or check the post install func in the ebuild) - you need to extend the license (not sure why they made it expire so soon).

No problem - their error was misleading, I think.  I just patched it to give the extension info in the error message - checked in as -r1.
