seems like i have a filesystem issue. it turns out i keep losing files... >(. i ran fsck and it found soooo many errors in the filesystem and fixed it all. but now i am not able to use the system including X.. i guess if emerge -E system/world kind of thing does not work, i will have to reinstall gentoo ... crap.. my first suspect on this isuue is amd64 system.. anyway, i am changing this to resolution:invalid.. |
