Description Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-03 19:41:12 UTC
This is for GCC 4.3 stabilisation. Please add arches as you see fit. Thanks.
Comment 1 Justin Bronder (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-03 19:49:58 UTC
Fine by me, adding archs.

Stable for HPPA.
Comment 4 Matthias Langer 2009-01-18 20:05:39 UTC
I'm just setting up a small cluster (16 cores - amd64) with lam-mpi-7.1.4. Thus I will have some test results in a few days for amd64.
Comment 5 Justin Bronder (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-01-25 21:04:07 UTC
I just bumped lam-mpi-7.1.4-r1 in the tree. This fixes #228183 as well as the blocker listed in comment 2.

Removing archs from CC until lam-mpi is ready to go stable.
Comment 6 Matthias Langer 2009-01-26 13:33:32 UTC
hmm, it seems some problems have been introduced since the last revision, as when trying to install

sys-cluster/lam-mpi-7.1.4-r1
USE="crypt fortran -debug -examples -pbs -romio -xmpi"

i get:

"

Matthias,

I was just looking through bugs and realized I hadn't responded to you yet. The version in the tree conditionally applies the libtool patch, so you should be good to go again.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Ok, let's have another round at this even though it hasn't been 30 days yet. Needed for gcc-4.3 stab efforts.

Fails the same way on ppc.
Comment 13 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-21 02:10:18 UTC
Removing arches again. The libtool problem seems to be universal. :)
Comment 14 Justin Bronder (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-07-10 23:46:57 UTC
libtool was failing on totalview, which I've disabled by default as it's not in the tree anyways. This won't affect any 64-bit users as the configure script disabled it by default for non 32-bit.

Sorry for the spam archs, shall we try one last time? :)

Also, the QA warnings about configure options are expected, the build system blindly passes on any argument it got to it's children.
