Bug 244751 – sci-misc/boinc-6.2.15: NICELEVEL of /etc/conf.d/boinc not effective

Seems that starting the daemon with that nice level is filly ignored by the client application, eg. in my case einstein@home, b/c the process ../../projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu/einstein_S5R4_6.02_i686-pc-linux-gnu_2 runs always with nice level 19.

Is NICELEVEL ignored entirely or is a similar (but actually used) configuration variable set elsewhere?

Ah, the boinc itself runs under the given nice level (I chanegd it temporary to 10), however the _real_ boinc application itself runs with 19 :

Reopening per request. I will have to look on it at some time but no promises (at all i am mainly kde dev, give me working solution and i will patch package tho :])
