I'm getting these...

checking whether the C compiler (gcc -O3 -march=athlon-xp -mcpu=athlon-xp ) is a
 cross-compiler... yes
:configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling

!!! ERROR: dev-php/mod_php-4.3.2-r3 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 304, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed

And when I compile without emerge it compiles fine.
