Please show output of following commands: eselect wxwidgets list emerge -pv wxGTK (In reply to comment #1) > Please show output of following commands: > > eselect wxwidgets list > > emerge -pv wxGTK > ~> eselect wxwidgets list Available wxWidgets profiles: [1] gtk2-ansi-release-2.6 [2] gtk2-unicode-release-2.6 [3] gtk2-unicode-release-2.8 * ~> emerge -pv wxGTK These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild R ] x11-libs/wxGTK-2.8.7.1-r1 USE="X opengl -debug -doc -gnome -gstreamer -odbc -pch -sdl" 0 kB Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB ~> Hiya Jude, From your report, it appears the ebuild is trying to use wx-widgets 2.6: * Requested wxWidgets: unicode 2.6 * Using wxWidgets: gtk2-unicode-release-2.6 As the results of your eselect/emerge show, 2.8 is the latest version and is the one that portage is going to be concentrating on. That means that whilst wxGTK-2.8 may be built with USE="opengl", wxGTK-2.6 might not be. Could you please try running the following command (the second quotes are important) and see if that solves the problem? USE="opengl" emerge -1av "<wxGTK-2.7" This is basically going to ensure that you're rebuilding wxGTK-2.6 with opengl support (rather than portage assuming you mean the latest and only rebuilding wxGTK-2.8). I'll mark the bug as TEST-REQUEST, and once you've tried this out, please come back, reopen the bug and let us know what you found. Thanks... 5:) Worked like a charm. Cheers guys! |
