Build log
It compiles fine on all my test setups (-j30/~amd64 -j3/amd64) and my x86 ones (-j3/~x86 and -j2/x86). It does not look like a parallel make problem. I see in your emerge info a "Quad-Core_AMD_Opteron", do you actually set -j8 on a 4 cores? If yes, could you try with -j5? I'll try again tomorrow orI'll check the build system directly.
