Could you provide more hardware details? The 1.4-rc2 boots fine on my Sun U60.

Can you test the newest experimental LiveCD called gentoo-sparc64-1.4_rc4-11Aug2003.iso.bz2 (on the mirrors under experimental/sparc/livecd/sparc64) and see if this problem still happens?

Hi,

Can you test the latest LiveCDs to see if this is still a problem for you?

Thanks.

Need to hear back from bug reporter as i'm unable to replicate due to lack
of hardware.
