Hello --

Due to the increasing popularity of Gentoo, we've found that, in order for rsync mirrors to be effective, they need to have at least 5mbps of upstream bandwidth. T1 circuits tend to get saturated quickly, especially during periods of high load.  The requirements for our rsync mirrors are listed here:
