This issue happens with >dev-db/postgresql-server-8.3.4 due to change to the api. See http://lists.slony.info/pipermail/slony1-commit/2007-December/002106.html. I believe a versionbump would solve this. Ten months without action, can somebody get to this please? As I've said earlier, simply bumping the ebuild works (just tried slony1-1.2.16). No changes to the ebuild or any patches required. Even builds fine with gcc-4.4. Created attachment 202658 [details, diff]
updated ebuild
Now, I've noticed configure whines about pgincludedir and it seems to be a typo. This is the diff between ebuild in tree and my ebuild to try slony1-1.2.17_rc2.
