Description Timothy Robinson 2003-07-02 17:15:48 UTC
I would like to add my program to the portage tree.

It is listed on freshmeat and the linux sound page. It is in freebsd's fresh
ports and has a mandrake package so far. I use gentoo and have for a little
over a year now and would very much like to have it in portage.

It is written for, but not limited to, tapers. When they tape a show then dump
it into a big wave file on their system, they can use wavbreaker to split the
file up into individual songs.

Check it out at http://huli.org/wavbreaker.

I am attaching an ebuild that I came up with. I have the package in
media-sound/wavbreaker. It works, but I'm sure you'll want to look it over.

Thanks,
Timothy

That's fine; just wait for the sound people to commit it...
