It's missing some dependencies. You need networkmanager as a runtime dependency and also some python modules for passphrase encoding.

Ebuild for 0.8.4

Version bump plus dependency improvements and minor improvements to src_install() and src_compile().

It was mentioned that no one has volunteered to maintain this package... what would it take to become the maintainer?

Just tried 0.8.4 ebuild, works great on my ~amd64
Comment 7 Radek Podgorny 2009-05-19 13:27:16 UTC

Comment 8 manuels 2009-05-22 12:38:28 UTC
The binary cnetworkmanager is installed in /usr/local/bin.
Shouldn't this be /usr/local?
Comment 9 manuels 2009-05-22 12:39:31 UTC
sorry, typo:
I didn't mean it should be installed in /usr/local, but in /usr/bin
Comment 10 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-08-14 10:23:26 UTC
Dagger added this thing to main tree.
