Description Crístian Viana 2008-09-19 02:57:33 UTC
The package x11-libs/qt-4.4.2 depends on the package x11-libs/qt-webkit-4.4.2, but the last one is not in the Gentoo mirrors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add "=x11-libs/qt-4.4.2" to /etc/portage/package.keywords
2. Run "emerge qt"
Actual Results:
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "~x11-libs/qt-webkit-4.4.2".
(dependency required by "x11-libs/qt-4.4.2" [ebuild])

Expected Results:
emerge should have installed the package x11-libs/qt-4.4.2 along with its dependencies.

Because of this problem, emerge can't update "world".
One workaround is to add "=x11-libs/qt-4.4.2" to /etc/portage/package.mask.

Try resyncing; qt-webkit-4.4.2 was committed very recently.
Comment 2 Wormo (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-09-19 07:06:45 UTC
I should have said resync in an hour or so, to give it time to hit the mirrors.

You hit an incompletely synced mirror. Blame CVS for taking so long to commit all the split qt ebuilds.
