Not sure what changed but now it works. (In reply to comment #1) > Not sure what changed but now it works. > I still have the same problems, so the bug still seems to be existent. The problem ist the kxml_compiler from KDE 4.x is in PATH before the KDE 3.5 one. I've remporarely renamed /usr/kde/4.1/bin/kxml_compiler any everything compiled just fine. depim-kresources-fix-kde4-path.patch
Dear KDE team,
upon invoking the emerge command from outside of environment controlled by startkde's $PATH mangling (like from remote SSH connection or from terminal) and if KDE4 is installed, its $PATH gets precedence over the one from 3.5.
A proper patch in the old kde eclass would be better, but as this is the only package from the full KDE suite that breaks (so far), I'd go just for this trivial patch.
I fixed up the eclass. There were a few other kde-misc ebuilds that might have been affected and it seemed better to fix it properly in case more cases came up in future. Thanks. *** Bug 245640 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
