In addition, if you have one installed and built, it would help to test against a 2.6.26 kernel right away, too. This would be only a help for the future when 2.6.26 is in arch, not critical for this bug, so it's completely optional. ppc stable alpha/ia64 stable (In reply to comment #0) > * DRI should be enabled when using these modules with latest stable drivers > (xf86-video-*). For instance, this one should work with current xf86-video-ati > and xf86-video-intel, while something like x11-drm-20071019 probably won't. Then what about x11-drm-20080710? It works flawlessly with DRI on an R300 and an R500 card with xf86-video-ati-6.9.0 (time to stable that as well, by the way). And I can add that x11-drm-20080710 and xf86-video-ati-6.9.0 appear to work fine with gentoo-sources-2.6.26-r2 as well. One more addition: x11-drm-20080710 and xf86-video-ati-6.9.0 work well with gentoo-sources-2.6.27-r1 as well. bump.. 2.6.26 is planned to go stable in a week, would be great to see this fixed sooner amd64/x86 stable, all arches done. |
