A new version have been released. Older versions (e.g. 6.0.4.93057 can't be fetched from off. site). A new ebuild is needed.

I tried to use ebuild from 6.0.4.93057, just made some changes within it. Then I've put it to local overlay. Also I've got VMware-workstation-6.0.5-109488.x86_64.tar.gz to /usr/portage/distfiles. I can't build digest, it says: 

 ebuild /usr/local/portage/app-emulation/vmware-workstation/vmware-workstation-6.0.5.109488.ebuild digest

To be sure:

fukazzz@gentoo ~ $ ls -la /usr/portage/distfiles/ | grep VMware
-rw-r--r--   1 portage portage 195545057 2008-09-13 13:28 VMware-workstation-6.0.5-109488.x86_64.tar.gz

So, when trying to emerge -DuNav vmware-worstation, it complains to unsatisfied dependencies and not existing Manifest file.
