Alright, let's get a few things straight : 1) We know about it, in fact we probably knew before you => http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ftp-release-list 2) If you are not 100% sure about the bug assignment, please let bug wranglers do what they do best. Use the "Ebuild" component. 3) Have you tried bumping ebuilds locally? Did it work, did it fail? That would actually be helpful.. also you are probably not aware of it (not a fault, just complementary information) but a future dev (/me crosses fingers) has already been working hard on doing a new set of mono bumps that is actually maintainable at our level. So please bear with the wait. btw, this version is actually not needed by any program in portage at this point in time afaik, the first one that will require it is tomboy in next gnome release. I believe that those packages will be greatly appreciated by quite a few users. F-spot has been waiting for the newer *-sharp packages ( bug 227073 depends on bug 211339 ) for a great while already. Just released f-spot-0.5.0 also needs gtk-sharp-2.12.3 if it's running alongside with gnome 2.24 but that's not really an issue, at least not yet. :) Anyway, thanks for the hard work you guys are doing. corec *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 211339 *** |
