Having links in lib32 sounds weird to me on a 64 bit box. I'm not sure what other information about libGL.so I can give. I'm not too savy with linux, so I'm not clear on what you mean by more information. In terms of selecting xorg-x11, it is selected. There is no other option installed. # eselect opengl list Available OpenGL implementations: [1] xorg-x11 * I don't have any other OpenGL implementations available. I agree that it is weird that I have inks to lib32. I'm really not clear why that is. I was playing around with Compiz a month or so ago but never put in enough time to try to get it to work. I don't know if that could be part of the issue. Thanks for your help Jerome Also, sorry but I realized that I talk about /usr/lib64/libGL.so. I thought I did. It is also symbolically linked to /usr/lib32 /usr/lib64/libGL.so -> /usr/lib32/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so That's absolutely broken, and won't work. I'm not sure how it happened, but the fix is easy: /usr/lib64/libGL.so -> /usr/lib64/opengl/xorg-x11/lib/libGL.so Make the symlink look like that. Thank you, that worked. Don't know why that didn't occur to me before. Sorry for taking up BugZilla space. Jerome |
