Please retry the emerge using LANG=C and attach that build log Really, can't you guess what: Fehler: iostream.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden means. After all, it's a standard gcc 4.3 problem: #include <iostream.h> needs to be changed to: #include <iostream> Somebody should add this to the tracker. Looks like we need to bump cifparse-obj to a more recent version anyway. I'll do this later and fix 4.3 support in the new version if necessary.
