Typo in the subject line; which is the other version you tried? Also, what version were you using on Arch Linux that worked properly? Finally, do you have a gcc older than 4.3 that you could try recompiling blender with? A number of apps still have compile-time issues with gcc 4.3.1, so I wouldn't be suprised if there are some with run-time issues. I found the problem :( /tmp was to small Sorry. |
