There is a GSSAPI patch available at
http://www.sxw.org.uk/computing/patches/openssh-3.6.1p2-gssapi-20030430.diff
which enables proper GSSAPI support (host and user key exchange) in openssh.
Could it be included in Gentoo's SSH?

Sorry for being late.

From what I can see openssh 3.8 supports gssapi so Im going to close this bug.
