Fixed example config file in CVS. The bug is not fixed. The patch missed the important part. You need a '-d' before the name='=*DVB'". The "-d name=" option does not work using single quotes or any spaces. When using LIRCD_OPTS="-H devinput -d name="*WinTV HVR-1950 Model 75"", the spaces will pass the next text as a command. (ie. HVR-1950: command not found) Also, using long strings fails such as "name=WinTV?HVR-1950?Model?75" or "name=WinTV*HVR-1950*Model*75", but "name=*HVR-1950*" works. No error is reported using the longer strings and "ps ax" shows the exact string as typed. A separate issue, the rc script should remove an existing /dev/lircd link if a lircd process does not exist. IE. lircd service is stopped, but a stale/old /dev/lircd remains and it does not appear to be a critical issue to me. Otherwise, lircd service will fail to start over such a miniscule issue. If I get a little time, I'll try to tend to the issues -- filing the fixes here or on a new bug. |
