looks like because i have i686-linux and glibc 3.2.3 but ebuild needs i586-linux and 
3.2.2. 
 
i have arch=86 set in make.conf. (I dont get the tilde sign typed )

Does "/usr/portage/sys-devel/gcc/files/fix_libtool_files.sh" help?

Looks just like a setup issue with gcc types.  No response in 6 weeks = closing.
