Netprofiles IMS is a networking script designed to be more flexible for users
who have multiple network configurations per card, or perhaps use multiple
network cards in their computer (laptop users especially). The netprofiles
script itself handles selecting profiles for your network card, based on your
MAC address. The settings file for each profile is easy to understand and edit.
Netprofiles IMS supports wired and wireless NICs through iwconfig (not needed
but good to have around). The netprofiles-ims init script simplifies network
startup by allowing profiles to be selected at boot for managed cards, or simply
allowing the defaults to be used. Automates startup and shutdown of multiple cards.

This is the initial release, and as such may have bugs I don't know about (it
works for me!), and doesn't have any profile management utilities for creating
profiles other than the default one created when the script is run for each card
for the first time, that will come later, and is not necessary for use of the
program.
