I am providing an ebuild for a dev snapshot from the eric3 website:
http://www.die-offenbachs.de/detlev/snapshots

The current ebuild in portage (3.1 I think) has a segmentation fault whenever
you try to go into the preferences and do anything.  It seg faults even if you
open the preferences and then hit OK.  I have not tested 3.2 (snapshot) yet, but
if it doesn't have any major seg fault problems then I will recommend that the
eric package be removed and be replaced with eric-snapshot.  For now, let's have
both.

seems like 3.2 is out, i would rather use a stable release than a snapshot if possible.

i'm cc'ing this to brain because i don't have qt around to test this.
