Description Greg Wiley 2003-06-23 07:58:45 UTC
/etc/init.d/local asks to be loaded after everything else
/etc/init.d/bootsplash asks to be loaded after /etc/init.d/local

Workaround by eliminating dependency in /etc/init.d/bootsplash
but then it is undetermined when the splash screens will be
loaded on the vt's. This is a problem if the boot and operating
framebuffer background configs are different.

Reproducible: Always

Same experienced here - looks like this also is a followup of the great unstable stable ebuild-flood. Funny is, that I don't have bootsplash enabled...
