emerge sendmail
fails; any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install gentoo from sources on x86 machine
2. emerge sendmail
Actual Results:  

gentoo ~ # uname -a

Please mask ssmtp locally as a workaround for an incredible old Portage bug.
