It is in .27 and with .27 it will be gentoo-sources. According to dsd new features in upstream development kernels can be considered for backporting to current release kernels. http://www.reactivated.net/weblog/archives/2007/07/new-hardware-support-in-the-gentoo-kernel/ I see, kernel folks your bug. :) From the link: "This series includes 47416 line insersions[sic]!" Wow, that's quite a big patch. Backports of all of v4l/dvb already exist and can be easily checked out from here: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/mkrufky/v4l-dvb-2.6.x.y.git I somehow doubt that backporting the gspca driver alone is worth anyone's time. Maybe this bug can be closed, now that gentoo-sources-2.6.27 is on the tree? Yes, it is fixed by gentoo-sources-2.6.27 |
