I meant th two frc files mentioned in comment #0. On sparc it compiles fine but the two examples in comment #0 also don't work. However these files do work: http://dirac.kw.bbc.co.uk/download/video/notfinal/ Do you have some more example files we can use to test? per comment #2 adding ppc64 back to cc. I don't recall how I've tested this... I'll retest it ASAP (give me a day or two). (In reply to comment #5) > On sparc it compiles fine but the two examples in comment #0 also don't work. > However these files do work: http://dirac.kw.bbc.co.uk/download/video/notfinal/ Indeed; the mplayerhq samples worked for me as they were demuxed by ffmpeg, for which I used a more recent version than the portage's one and enabled dirac support.... my bad :( > Do you have some more example files we can use to test? Unfortunately not, dirac format is not widespread yet (and afaik still not 100% finalized) The latter files work fine here. Keyworded on alpha. (In reply to comment #7) > Unfortunately not, dirac format is not widespread yet (and afaik still not 100% > finalized) It may not have support for all dirac features yet, but the features it has do work. Added ~sparc, looking forward to see some version bumps that allow it to play ffmpeg-dirac files :) works as described in comment #5. seems like I just fscked up the testing in comment #1. Leaving ~ppc64 in and removing us from CC again. Works for me with : - dirac-1.0.0 - ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20080326 (~ppc) - vlc-0.9.0_beta3 (~ppc) (I'm using ppc, btw) I tested files from there : http://dirac.kw.bbc.co.uk/download/video/maybefinal/ and they are working. That's probably much more relevant than files from comment #0 I observe that was very slow. But vlc was builded in debug mode and my powerbook is getting old so it probably doesn't come from dirac. Someone to confirm this ? 19 Oct 2008; Markus Rothe <corsair@gentoo.org> dirac-1.0.0.ebuild: Added ~ppc |
