My bet is you missed to run python-updater after updating Python as the post install information asked you to!? Not a bug then. local problem and dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 232257 *** I had the same problem and running python-update didnt help for me. But running: emerge -1 dev-java/java-config-2.1.6 did help. I also recommend re-emerge every package which have files under /usr/lib/python2.4. The following command lists those packages: equery belongs /usr/lib/python2.4 |
