gspeakers-0.11.ebuild
ebuild for current upstream version.
This nice loudspeaker enclosure and crossover design application really belongs to app-sci/ instead of media-sound/. I have successfully compiled and emerged this package on gcc 3.4.3 on the amd64 arch. It runs fine, although I haven't been able to test fully due to me only having a rudimentary knowledge of modern loudspeaker design. It certainly seems to run fine for me (0.11 ebuild). This ebuild is now in CVS, with gnucap as its SPICE interpreter - the others would hang when plotting crossover frequency responses for me and the author also recommends gnucap on his site. Please test. thanks; just tested it, and I can confirm that it works great on my gentoo dvl boxes. The results in the application's analysis look reasonable to me (I didn't actually *build* the enclosure :-). Works for me, x86 with GCC 3.4.3. Seems stable, functional, etc etc ebuild worked good for me. thanks, and good job. btw gcc --version gcc (GCC) 3.4.3 20041125 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3-r1, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.7) drop me a line if I can assist further. |
