I have exiv2-0.16 installed, then I upgraded portage to 2.2_rc1. After running `emerge -1 exiv2`, the 0.17 got installed and the .so files from 0.16 were preserved, which is correct.

However, after `emerge -1K =exiv2-0.16` followed by `emerge -1K '>=exiv2-0.17'`, the .so files from 0.16 are gone.
