Confirmed with stable vanilla 2.6.25.11. Please add check to vmware-modules for UNUSED_SYMBOLS configuration option. I've added this kernel option dependancy check in the ebuild of the 1.0.0.20 version see bugg : 227303 *** Bug 235141 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This has now been fixed in the overlay, thanks to Cyrius for adding it to the ebuild he posted in the other bug. I've modified it, since this check is only necessary if the kernel version if 2.6.25 or greater, but none-the-less, great work Cyrius, thanks!!! 5:) Overlay. Great. When it would hit tree? I believe this is no longer necessary is the main tree, so I'm going to mark it as FIXED. Please let me know if you're still runnning into this as an issue... |
