What driver handles that chipset? (In reply to comment #1) > What driver handles that chipset? > Hmm... Actually, i think i'm mistaken, it probably is the "IDE interface: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88SE6101 single-port PATA133 interface (rev b2)" that's causing the problem. I'm guessing it needs either "Marvell SATA support (HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL)" or "Marvell PATA support via legacy mode". Ehh, it looks like the PATA Marvell driver on the Minimal CD might have been built using =m instead of =y. Try the LiveCD. I *know* that it has =y on it. I *know* that it has =y on it. > Thanks, i will try that. Although it doesn't really solve my problem since i have specific need to use the minimal CD in this case. But thanks for the information, i appreciate it. I'm having the same error, but I use a sata dvd-player. When I dissable AHCI, it boots fine. (I only can't access the internet using the 2008! The 2007 does it ok) The 2008.0 release was done a long time ago. |
