Last release was in 2004. Maybe it is time to ditch this package and suggest eix which has a much more active UPSTREAM. What do you think, guys, is it time for TreeCleaners to get involved? esearch was one of the first of its kind, but it's probably time to retire it. Alternatives including portage-utils' qsearch, eix, pkgcore's equery, and of course judicious use of tools like locate, find, and grep. :) Created attachment 163731 [details, diff]

The old patch misses a couple of other 'import'. The attached patch fixes esync and eupdatedb as well.
