After updating world blender is no longer usable. It launches fine, but if I try to add text it crashes. I am able to add nurbs, mesh, etc just not text. I have tried to rebuild my entire system and world but the problem persists.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start blender
2.select add, then text
3.

Actual Results:  
Blender crashes with a segmentation fault
