the autologin patch

Description Nicola 2008-07-06 19:50:05 UTC
I made this patch that, with a simple hack, adds the auto-login feature to slim (with both pam enabled and disabled).

I also created an ebuild to let the user chose weather apply the patch or not.

Please test :)

Reproducible: Always

Nicola, send the patch to the authors, please.

yep I will!
but I don't know how to behave, is there an explicit netiquette for this?
should I write them an e-mail or post the patch on berlios, in the patch section of the project?

Use their bug/patch tracker. When they have not a tracker they usually tell in their README or homepage where to report bugs and send patches (a mailing list or author's email).
