Configure is running a test that does not succeed in a cross compiler environment.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.xmerge dev-db/mysql


Actual Results:  
checking "return type of sprintf"... configure: error: cannot run test program while cross compiling

Try 5.0.70, but also submit patches if it's broken.
