There has been a new release for OTR, both the library and the pidgin plugin. The latter now is fare less intrusive in the user interface. I've simply copied the ebuilds and adjusted the libotr dependency in the pidgin-otr ebuild. Emerged fine, works fine, should be ready for ~x86. You might wish to have the pidgin-otr ebuild automatically depend on >=net-libs/libotr-${PV} to avoid adjusting that dependency manually. On the other hand the 3.2.0 plugin might even work with the 3.1.0 lib, haven't tried that combination here.
