I have removed everything automatically provided by hotplug from default
run-level. One of those hotplugged drivers is also net.eth0.

I have added package esound with init script dependence "use net", which depends
(for -bind $HOSTNAME) on fully functional network, but only lo is up in time the
script starts - net.eth0 is started by hotplug afterwards - too late.

It seems, that either

"use net" is not sufficient and I have to add "hotplug" to all init scripts,
which require complete network up

or

"use net" should start also hotplug, if runlevel contains it.
